Hero, remember when Bobby “Grave” took the Gorgon’s head? The one the Guardians called “The Stone Lady With Boundary Issues”? Everyone expected horror: that he’d turn to stone, go mad, or start wearing a toga quoting Hegel at sunrise.
But no. The curse hit him like a tidal wave of divine empathy. And turned the deadliest pirate into the most unbearable sweetheart.
Bobby — the pirate no one can hate.
Now, when he simply looks at someone — they feel seen. A battle-hardened killer locks eyes with him… and suddenly confesses his childhood trauma, drops his sword, and takes up calligraphy.
An imperial soldier sent to kill him becomes his personal chef. A Guardian with a lecture on “balance” ends up weeping into Bobby’s shoulder.
And Fox? Even she has started asking:
— “Bobby… Why do I fear open relationships?”
This is the curse. He can no longer not feel. And no longer be just a pirate. How do you lead a crew… when your soul is a ship with no cannons, but all the sails open?
To be continued. And hero — if Bobby ever looks at you, don’t even try to lie. He’ll feel it. Even the part you haven’t admitted to yourself.
